Summary:
Research in the Dhar lab uses a variety of biological approaches to study liver diseases, cancer and multi-organ cross-talk. Our mission is to understand how hypernutrition and metabolic stress influence the development of Metabolic associated Steatohepatitis (MASH), liver fibrosis and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The overarching goal of the lab is to understand the basic mechanism of disease development in order to develop novel therapeutic approaches and biomarkers for MASH and HCC.
A Postdoctoral Associate position is available to study:
Under limited direction, the Postdoctoral fellow will plan and manage all aspects of a research project including research design, experimentation, funding acquisition and publication.

Compensation:
The expected hiring range for this position is $70,000.00 to $75,000 commensurate with relevant experience.
