We have an opening for an Intern in the Sinha Lab reporting to Dr. Sanju Sinha, Ph.D.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Running existing machine learning tools to analyze omics and imaging data in biomedical research

· Refining the model based on results, and inform future experimental directions.

· Report and present research findings and developments clearly to both computational scientists and biologists.

Education and/or Experience:

· Bachelors in computer science or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained required.

· Experience with handling, analyzing, and interpreting big data is required.

Other Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

· Effective communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate well with team members.

· Strong knowledge of linear algebra, calculus, and statistics.

Compensation:

This position will be unpaid and will be primarily for training of the intern.
